Ruby’s Story
Couples Therapist in Denver
Whether you’re addressing differences in intimacy needs or rediscovering your connection after bringing home a baby, I help couples move past challenges and into authentic understanding. We’ll dive into the roots of the conflict and work toward meaningful change, with both parties feeling heard, understood, and moving towards a solution.
What my clients enjoy most about my approach is providing research-backed strategies to offer immediate relief, alongside deeper exploration to shift the long-standing patterns that hinder intimacy and connection.
As a mother of two young children, I understand the unrealistic expectations placed on women when they become parents. I provide compassionate, no-BS guidance to help you release harmful expectations and embrace who you are meant to be as parents and partners.

Item description
How Does Couples Therapy Work?
Relationships often reflect the deeper stories we tell ourselves. Using Narrative Therapy, I guide clients in understanding how societal messages and personal experiences shape their interactions. We’ll uncover unspoken beliefs that may make connection with your partner difficult, stall communication, or complicate expressing your needs.
With training in the Gottman Method, I offer practical, research-backed tools to help couples address a range of challenges and build a solid foundation of trust and mutual understanding.
With a background in sales and non-profit fundraising, I’ve learned how to be direct, ask uncomfortable questions, handle rejection, and sit in discomfort right alongside you.
