At Discover Peace Within,
Who we are:
Discover Peace Within (DPW) is a female-led group practice providing individual, family, and group therapy, yoga services, and group offerings and programs (such as workshops, retreats, and courses) to women in Colorado. We also provide quality and individualized clinical supervision and consultation services to mental health therapists in Colorado. We use a feminist, intersectional, and holistic approach to health and healing.
Our Mission:
To empower women in the state of Colorado to discover peace within by providing therapy, yoga, and group offerings.
Our Vision:
A place where women discover peace within themselves so that they can help foster peace within their families, neighborhoods, communities, and the world.
Our Values:
Connection
Holistic Healing
Transparency
Our Policies:
Inclusion & Safety
We are committed to creating an environment that supports inclusivity and respect people of all races, colors, cultures, religions, spiritual practices, sex, ages, socioeconomic statuses, perceived or actual sexual orientations, gender identity or gender expressions, relationship statuses or configurations, national origins or physical and mental abilities, or shapes, sizes and/or weight. We also recognize the immense impact that systemic racism and oppression have on the mental health and well being for persons in the Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) community and in the LGBTQIA+ community. We are committed to celebrating our clients’ full intersectional identities and fostering a safe environment for all of our clients.
Appointments & Cancellations
Your time slot has been assigned to and reserved specifically for you, and it is important that we respect our arrangement. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so 48 hours in advance. This gives your therapist a chance to schedule with someone else who may need an appointment. If you no-show or cancel your appointment after 48 hours, you will be responsible for the full fee and we will charge your credit card on file. Please note that insurance does not cover or pay for no-show or canceled appointments.
Good Faith Estimate
You have a right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under law, health care providers need to give patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call the Colorado Division of Insurance at 303-894-7490 or 1-800-930-3745.
