FEMALE LED GROUP PRACTICE IN COLORADO

Meet our therapists.

Ruby Falk, MA, LPCC

Therapist | (She/Her)

Hi, I’m Ruby. My training is in family systems therapy, and I help people thrive in their relationships by exploring the roots of the patterns and cycles happening in their lives, preventing them from reaching their full potential.

Whether you're seeing me as a couple or an individual, we're going to closely examine the critical parts of your past, your family of origin, and the important relationships you've made throughout your life that have shaped you into the person you are today.

  • I work with individuals and couples who are navigating relationship changes after experiencing major life transitions, like the birth of your first baby, or the loss of a significant loved one.

Issues like anxiety and depression can cloud your ability to trust that you can handle the harder parts of life. I specialize in targeting the root causes of your anxiety, while closely examining the relationships in your life that led you to this point. Together, we'll create practices and techniques for you to work on outside of therapy to help you reach your goals faster.

I feel profoundly grateful to hold space for you as you process everything life has thrown at you and work toward living out the story you’ve always wanted. On a personal and professional level, I have a deep sense of empathy for the human experience. As much as our resilience is worth celebrating, it’s also important to step back, catch your breath, and acknowledge that it isn’t always easy. My goal is to encourage you to be the most authentic version of yourself.

  • Anxiety is strongest when there is uncertainty; it thrives when you are in the dark about the root of your emotions or what your triggers are. With therapy, you have a professional whose purpose is to listen to you as you describe the issues you want to address. We will identify patterns and themes and work to uncover their roots. The process focuses on you and your needs. We will work to address what seems out of sync in your life.

  • I view therapy as a collaborative process, and I consider you the expert in the room. Together, we will explore the parts of your life that cause you pain and don’t serve the greater purpose you’ve set out for yourself.

Throughout the therapeutic process, you will gain the tools to confront your problems head-on while also understanding the power of approaching yourself with compassion and empathy.

Therapy will help you deeply understand how events, relationships, and emotional experiences have impacted you throughout your life and led you to this point.

In coming to therapy, you will recognize that you already bring so much to the table – you have made it this far, and that is worth acknowledging.

I received my Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of Colorado at Denver. My training is primarily rooted in family systems, which I incorporate into the therapeutic process, regardless of how many people are in the room. It is nearly impossible to address the problems plaguing your life today without truly understanding where you come from and who you are.

I have experience in corporate counseling, leading groups for soon-to-be and new parents, and working with teens to combat suicide.

In addition to my clinical work, I also co-host a podcast called I Love My Baby, And…all about the postpartum experience!

Ana Landis, LCSW

Therapist | (She/Her)

Hi, I’m Ana. I believe in the power of human connection and am deeply committed to guiding clients towards greater self-awareness, resilience, and healing.

I work with women to help navigate the complexities of life. Whether that’s life transitions, motherhood and postpartum, managing relationships, identifying attachment styles, guidance through a change in school or career path, reintegrating and healing from trauma, processing loss and grief, or simply exploring patterns that no longer serve you.

Together we will work to explore your thoughts and feelings to better understand and appreciate your unique life experiences. My hope is to create a trusting and authentic relationship, in which we collaboratively learn and problem-solve to cultivate the healing you desire, guided by your values.

  • People I work with are looking for support in a variety of areas: from navigating transitions in life and setting healthy boundaries in relationships, to all things motherhood and postpartum concerns. I work with individuals who are dealing with anxiety, depression, and grief/loss, and explore how attachment styles and patterns of behavior impact one's sense of self and relationships. Through a collaborative approach, my role is to help guide individuals to inner resilience and to foster hope.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in the belief that every person has the potential to gain insight and to learn and grow. I utilize an integrative therapeutic approach with a strengths-based, client-centered and holistic perspective. It draws from various therapeutic modalities to ensure that I effectively meet individual needs. A treatment plan is tailored to each client's unique needs, with practical tools and coping strategies to navigate life's challenges. My focus is on creating a caring, compassionate and trusting space for people to feel safe and understood. I integrate principles from Attachment Theory, Internal Family Systems Model, contemporary cognitive-behavioral therapies and mindfulness; all through a trauma informed care framework, which addresses all aspects of your well-being and are affirming and culturally sensitive.

I strive to create a safe and supportive space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I work to foster self-reflection and insight while providing you with tools that empower you to develop acceptance or create change.

Therapy encourages deep personal growth and helps you to find the pieces within yourself that enable healing, acceptance and/or change. My goal is that together we will explore your patterns and open the door to understanding and self-awareness; to process past wounds or to empower you to step into life experiences as they are unfolding.

Malia Reeder, LCSW

Therapist | (She/Her)

Hi, I’m Malia. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

My therapeutic style is rooted in my belief of our human potential to reflect, relate, learn, and grow.

I help adolescents and adults with self discovery through life transitions. Life transitions are common and often support is helpful; whether that is a new relationship, big move, adolescence to adulthood, school or career path, parenthood, or if you are experiencing new, unexpected emotions in your life. I understand that these moments can be both exhilarating and daunting, and I am committed to providing the necessary tools and support to navigate them confidently.

  • People I work with often are seeking support on how to navigate the complexities of life, whether that is learning how to set boundaries, discovering their needs and how to voice them, living in their values, and uncovering how to live a joyous, fulfilled life. My passion is to help you know you are not alone, provide tools to better help navigate change, and for you to stay true to your unique self through the process.

I draw from a holistic and client-centered approach, tailoring my methods to meet the individual needs and preferences of each person. My aim is to create an environment that fosters trust, empathy, and open communication, allowing clients to express themselves freely and work towards positive change. I combine traditional talk therapy with DBT, CBT, and SFBT and I am deeply committed to fostering personal growth, self awareness, and overall well-being.

  • Therapy is a powerful tool for transformation. Therapy can help slow the fast pace of life down so you can better navigate the world and feel confident facing challenges presented to you. Therapy gives you the gift of a confidential, non-judgmental, dedicated time for healing to take place.

In my personal life, I like to mountain bike with my dog in the Summer and go to hot yoga in the Winter. I have a sweet tooth, my favorite dessert is mint chocolate chip ice cream with sprinkles and I always get it in a waffle cone. It is my belief that every individual has the capacity to overcome challenges and live a fulfilling life, and I am honored to be a part of that transformative journey.

Therapy is a courageous step, if you are ready, then schedule a free 20 minute consultation with me. I look forward to connecting with you!

Discover Peace Within Ilene Solomon Gold Therapist in Denver Colorado

Ilene Solomon Gold, LCSW, RYT

Owner, Therapist, Supervisor & Yoga Teacher | (She/Her)

Hi! I’m Ilene. Helping women navigate their 20s and 30s with less anxiety and more confidence is my passion.

You feel like you’re “too much” and simultaneously “not enough.” You constantly question whether you’re making the “right” decision, which is hard because you often don’t even know what it is YOU want or need. You’re used to being the “good girl” and you’re very familiar with people pleasing. That all used to work for you, but now you’re finding it to be more exhausting and wondering if there’s more out there to discover. You question if your friends and coworkers use you as just a dumping ground, and if your family knows the real you.

  • I help female-identifying young adults, over-achieving professionals, and overwhelmed moms heal from past experiences that have left you out of touch with who you are, what you want, and what you believe you deserve. If you’re struggling with confidence at work, unsure of how to take up space in relationships, or are trying so hard not to repeat the same parenting you experienced, I can help! In our sessions, you’ll find a time dedicated to you - a space where all parts of you are welcomed and celebrated.

I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, grief/loss, postpartum support, all things motherhood, relationship issues, life changes, self-esteem & confidence, young adulthood, ADHD, family issues, young professionals, boundary work, people pleasing and clinical supervision & consultation.

  • Therapy is time away from the busy day-to-day where you have the chance to reflect on yourself and your life. Therapy is a powerful space where you can explore the past experiences that impact your present day struggles. With that knowledge, you can then begin to heal from the past in order to create the life you want and deserve. I see therapy as intentional time set aside for your healing and growth. Therapy is a place for you to be you.

As your therapist, I like to think of us adventuring in a dark cave together: the path is unknown and yet, you are not alone. I’m right there with you, holding a flashlight and equipped with a map to help guide you into the light. In my work with clients, we spend a lot of time ensuring that you feel safe, supported, seen and heard. Through this trusting relationship, you build the confidence and tools to live life according to your values and priorities. I blend traditional talk therapy approaches like EMDR, IFS, ACT, and DBT with yogic philosophy to help my clients discover peace within their mind, body, and spirit.

In my personal life, I’m a nature-loving, hiking, camping, and biking type of woman. Listening to music and dancing at concerts is my medicine. I build physical strength through yoga and Pure Barre. I don’t know where I’d be without my own therapist. I’m a proud mama to a bright and vivacious daughter and an energetic fur baby. My husband and I love to travel and go on adventures.

If you’re ready to put yourself first for a change, schedule a free consultation today.

Therapist & Bi-Lingual in Português | (She/Her)

Hi! I’m Kayln. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Bi-Lingual.

My heart and passion really lies in supporting women navigate the many curves and challenges that life can and likely will present us with throughout the chapters of our life. The only certainty in life is change and change is impossible to escape. Navigating the change and adversity, especially alone, can be incredibly challenging and lonely.

  • I’ve spent all of my career working mostly with females (children, teens, women in their 20s to early 40s). A great deal of my focus is on supporting moms to be and seasoned mamas navigate through the ups and downs of life. Every person’s story is beautiful and unique. A great honor that I hold is being able to support each person, as they navigate regaining strength in their story.

I understand the feelings of stress, anxiety, depression and hopelessness…the feelings of uncertainty and not being able to imagine the possibilities for the future. I understand death, loss, and trauma, both professionally and personally. Wherever you may be at in this season of life, I am here to honor you in this chapter and help you come forward with your truest self.

  • I ask how you are doing/feeling because I genuinely want to know. With that, I ask that you bring as much of your whole self to session as possible. If you only share half of your truth, together, we can only make a portion of difference/change/shift.

I am very familiar with the power dynamics that lie within the society/communities that we live in. My style in therapy has a focus in breaking apart many of those power dynamics so that you can truly realize how much power you have, inside and outside of this therapeutic space.

Administration Team

Carrie Hintz

Hello, I am Carrie Hintz. I am the Practice Coordinator at Discover Peace Within. It’s an honor to support you on your path to wellness!

Practice Coordinator | (She/Her)

Why choose Discover Peace Within?

Discover Peace Within is designed for women, by women. Therapists on our team get firsthand what it means to be a woman in the 21st century. We've gone through our fair share of struggles and challenges, continue to strive to be better versions of ourselves, and are committed to our own mental and emotional health and well-being.

Many of us are moms, trying to balance and juggle it all. We get what it’s like to feel so disconnected from yourself, your family, your friends, your community, and we know what it takes to get to the other side.

We value connection, and healing from the inside-out. We think about the whole picture: mind-body-spirit. We see you as a whole and complete person, just as you are.

Our ultimate goal is to support you to discover the peace that already exists within you - the peace that you’ve held glimpses of at certain points in your life, the peace that comes from saying “yes” to you first. With decades of experience between us, the team at Discover Peace Within has the knowledge, head, and heart to support you to come back to you - to discover peace within.

Connection

At Discover Peace Within, our goal as your therapist is to connect with you – ALL parts of you. You can count on us to always be warm and skilled as your co-pilot on your therapy journey But on top of that, we want you to connect with yourself. This can look like, learning to love yourself, connecting to your mind-body-spirit in healthy and uplifting ways, exploring relationships in your life and determining which are healthy and helpful. Connection means we “get it” and “get you” on a personal level through groups, community offerings, retreats and more

Holistic Healing

We believe in the mind-body-spirit connection, that means that our lens to health and healing doesn’t stop at traditional talk therapy. We combine alternative and comprehensive approaches like EMDR, yoga, and specialized trainings to support our clients. We also work collaboratively with our network of functional medicine practitioners, nurse practitioners, chiropractors, acupuncturists, and physical therapists. We believe in supporting the whole of you! We’ll ask about and encourage you to explore ways to support your mental and emotional health through mindful movement, creative outlets, hobbies, passions, sleep hygiene, nourishing mind-body-spirit through hydration and intuitive eating, and spiritual practices.

Transparency

We believe that you deserve to understand the process of therapy, the style and approach to supporting you that your therapist chooses and why, and what to expect when you begin the process of working with us. We are transparent in sharing costs to therapy. We believe in honesty from you as you deserve honesty from us. We value creating a culture of asking questions, mutual understanding, and empowering you to live in the values of transparency with yourself and others in your life.

Your mental health is important.
It’s time to invest in yourself.

At Discover Peace Within, we offer a free 20 minute consultation to all new and incoming clients. If you are ready to dive in and achieve real healing, please reach out to us today.
