We are a mental health group practice designed for women, by women. We offer therapy, clinical consultation, community events, and yoga services that are holistic, and focused on your health, healing, and well-being. We understand that when a woman feels empowered within herself, she is more confident and capable to empower her family, her friends, and her community. We provide compassionate, supportive, heartfelt services with a holistic, mind-body-spirit approach.

Especially as women. Especially now. We are supposed to have it all, do it all, be it all. For everyone. All the time – like yesterday. It’s a lot. We get it. We live it, too. But you don’t have to do it alone.
At Discover Peace Within, we recognize that as a human being, you have access to a reservoir of strength, resiliency, and peace within you. Yet, right now, you feel so far away from that sense of peace.
Your childhood trauma keeps repeating itself in your relationships. Your low self-esteem makes you say “yes” when you mean “no.” You’re constantly worried if you belong. You lay awake at night wondering if you said the right thing? Did the right thing? I’m a new or veteran mama and I feel like I’m losing myself.
It’s super common for moms at all stages to struggle with their identity, feeling like you might have lost yourself, your freedom and your sanity from just the mental load of motherhood. We all go through overwhelming things in our lives. That’s part of being human. But if you’ve ever gone through something hard AND you felt alone or out of control during the situation, you may have experienced trauma. Whether it was something recent or something from childhood is resurfacing – we are here help move you through it so you can not only survive, but thrive again. At Discover Peace WIthin, we use evidenced-based, holistic approaches to support you in healing from traumatic experiences. We are here to give you a safe space. A place where you can talk about the real, raw, and hard stuff with total support. We want you to feel confident that you can find peace again. It is never too early or late to heal from trauma.
I’m a therapist and I need quality supervision or clinical consultation.
Not only do we help our clients needing therapy, we also help fellow therapists. If you are experiencing compassion fatigue, burn out, wondering if you made the right decision to become a therapist or simply looking for a supervisor who is doing the work that you want to do (like owning her own private practice) – we are here to help you and guide you. Our focus on women give us a unique insight into helping therapists who want to work towards clinical licensure from a feminist or intersectionality-approach. We are here to hold space for you, for your client’s hardships, for your needs – we will help equip you with the tools and support so you feel confident and empowered when helping others.

Our therapists are Certified Yoga Instructors that provide Trauma Informed Yoga to both groups and individuals. If you find yourself wanting to go deeper in your physical-mental-emotional-spiritual practice but have found that community yoga practice isn’t the place – we are here for you. With our yoga sessions, you can process emotions and anything else that might come up for you on the mat in real time. Yoga can help bring out insights, connections and even traumatic memories, we are here so you don’t have to do that healing alone.
